OVERNIGHT OATS – 4 FLAVOURS

SUPER SIMPLE

SERVES 4

SYNS PER SERVING FREE (IF USING HEALTHY EXTRA B FOR OATS, OTHERWISE 7)

 

160g rolled porridge oats

800g fat free natural yoghurt

340ml water

 

Put oats into large mixing bowl and add yoghurt and water. Stir together, then cover and chill overnight.

In the morning, stir and divide into 4 servings.

 

PEACH MELBA

300g fresh peach

2 tbsp fat free natural yoghurt

Handful fresh raspberries

Peel and slice peach, chopping a few slices into smaller pieces. Stir through the oats the night before, then cover and chill overnight. In the morning, top with raspberries, more peach and yoghurt.

 

BANANA BERRY

1 banana

Squeeze lemon juice

Handful fresh blueberries

Pinch cinnamon

Dice banana and toss with squeeze of lemon juice. Stir through the oats the night before, then cover and chill overnight. In the morning, top with fresh blueberries, extra banana and cinnamon.

 

CARROT CAKE

1 small carrot, peeled

1 ripe pear

3 tsp sweetener

100g fat free natural fromage frais

100g quark

Pinch cinnamon

Grate carrot (reserving some for the topping) and dice pear. Stir through the oats the night before, along with 1 tsp sweetener, then cover and chill overnight. In the morning, mix fromage frais and quark with 2 tsp sweetener. Divide over the oats, scatter the reserved carrot over the top and add cinnamon.

 

HOT APPLE PIE

1 tsp mixed spice

1 x fat free vanilla yoghurt

1 red apple

Stir mixed spice through the oats the night before, then cover and chill overnight. The next morning, microwave the oats in a bowl on high for 1 min. Top with yoghurt, finely diced and sliced apple and top with mixed spice.
